SCCSA Special Competition Rules

Over 35 /over 45

In Over 35 & Over 45 regular Winter comp games, it is illegal to slide tackle an opponent. Please note that this applies ONLY to slide tackling an  opponent, so sliding for the ball etc is OK. Where this rule is broken, an IDFK is awarded to the non offending team. There is no card involved UNLESS the tackle is considered by the referee to be reckless of using excessive force.

Please note that this rule does NOT apply to Kevy Cup and other games.
